Who is Tanglewise suited to?
We work with small and mid-sized businesses in Malaysia that are growing beyond informal arrangements and want to bring more clarity and fairness to how they manage and support their people. Most clients are between 15 and 150 staff.
How does a typical engagement begin?
We start with a short discovery call — usually 30 to 45 minutes — to understand your organisation's situation and what you are hoping to address. From there we can suggest which service fits and share a simple written scope.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both, depending on what makes sense. Some parts of a review work better in person — particularly listening sessions with staff — while planning sessions and advisory meetings can be held online. We are based in Kuala Lumpur and can reach most of Klang Valley without difficulty.
What if our team is reluctant to engage with an outside consultant?
That is a common concern, and we take it seriously. Our approach is deliberately unhurried and non-threatening. Staff are never put in uncomfortable positions, and we are transparent about how information is used. Leadership retains control of all outcomes.
How are the fees structured?
The Team & Talent Review is RM 610 for the full scope. The Talent Strategy & Operating Framework is RM 2,850. The People Advisory Retainer is RM 4,550 per engagement period. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and discussed openly before any work begins.
How do you handle sensitive information shared during a review?
We treat all information with care and discretion. Individual views shared in listening sessions are summarised without attribution. We do not pass on personal details or identifiable comments to anyone outside the agreed reporting structure.
